I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1943. In 1961 I studied at the Alberta College of Art in Calgary, Alberta. Awed by the colors and majestic forms of the American southwest landscapes, I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1990.
I also studied art at the University of New Mexico.
I like to paint at many different locales in the southwest. What unites my paintings is the hard desert light with it's vivid contrasts between light and shadow.
