Anne paints in the tradition of the Dutch masters. Sources of inspiration are painters like Rembrandt and Vermeer, but also Toulouse Lautrec, Alberto Giacometti and Francis Bacon.
Painting is the application of paint on a surface. But for some of us it is more: a way of showing what is in our head, visual stories that need to be told.
