I'm lucky enough to have two beautiful daughters who are willing to play on the beach all day while I sketch and take reference photos. A typical family holiday provides me with hundreds of painting ideas that I can re-visit during the dark days of winter. Here's a painting that I started last December and am now getting round to finishing.

The painting has finally reached completion. Quite a lot was done in the final stages, including filing in the white foam within the foam collar, and most importantly, changing the dimensions of the work. I knew from the outset that I might want to make the canvas slightly more rectangular, but I wanted to see how far I could push the design...

3 new paintings that i have started. - I know that one will be about the Eiffel Tower surrounded by flowers and fireworks. - Another one will be about Canadian Gooses crossing a street (because i keep seeing those over here in Virginia and i think they are so slow and funny). - And last but not least, a painting about the Chartres Cathedral and...
