This past week end was the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows 14th Annual Art Studio Tour.

I'm lucky enough to have two beautiful daughters who are willing to play on the beach all day while I sketch and take reference photos. A typical family holiday provides me with hundreds of painting ideas that I can re-visit during the dark days of winter. Here's a painting that I started last December and am now getting round to finishing.

I'm working and researching about modern art processes and their contributions in these time, i;m determined to build a lenguage with features and elements that no stray from the constant ,but i come to the ideas of many ,who tried to build thid new art at the time at the time do not help their,i also refeir to the contribuitions of Kandinsky....

THERE IS NO MESSAGE, a group exhibition of abstract expressionism, from minimalist colour fields to fast-motion splatters of paint. Modern perspectives such as colour choices and renewed ideas of composition are applied by Vancouver artists who maintain the pure absence of depiction.

I began a Canadian Geese painting 2 weeks ago, and i am almost done with it. I pretty much like everything, the colors, the composition, the movement. So basically, i am almost seeing the end of it.
