Have been making and showing some new tango sculpture. There is a video on YouTube called 'Sophie Howard Tango' where you can see me making one, speeded up. On Friday I am hiring a van to go back up to Chipping Campden in Gloucestershire to retrieve my large Black Sow from the Campden Gallery and transport her to Jagged Art in Marlebone. She weighs about a hundred and sixty kilos, I think, so I have found and rubber padded a sturdy little trolly to make the gallery exit a little easier. On the way in...

Cold fingers, luckily plaster is warm. Happy New Year! Back in the studio and still tinkering with a set, well two pairs, of cats for the Emma Bridgewater factory. One pair crouching and the other sitting. Tango. This sculpture is the latest completed of my tango sculptures. There are five more nearing completion. I don't think it will ever end. I am an addict, I admit it. Let the music begin.........
