This body of work has been brewing for sometime , I love the ocean the movement the power the colours and mystery. This new work is a shift for me, a bit more realistic than I normally do but things tend to come in waves ( no pun intended) and for now its water. I build the surface of the canvas with impasto marks of gel medium or modelling paste...
