Xmas Bite Size Exhibition

Xmas Bite Size is presented by the Folkestone Arts Collective and our second "grab and go" art exhibition of this kind. Each artist’s picture is a set petite "bite size" of 6 x 8 inches, set uniform frame and at a set value price of only £40 A varied selection of art styles that make it a worthy visit to the stylish Burlington Hotel in Earls Avenue, Folkestone.

So grab yourself a piece of local art for yourself or that great Christmas present for a family member, friend or business client maybe. There will also be musical entertainment in the piano room area of the Burlington Hotel with Christmas Carols sung and a classical quartet playing popular classical pieces (see our website for times of the performances and all details). A raffle with great prizes. Lunches, teas, coffees, cakes and refreshments available at the hotel.

SEAS Winter Open Studios

13 artists from Deal and the surrounding area throw open the doors of their studios and welcome visitors throughout the weekend. Winter open studios encourages you to follow our circular art trail that begins in Deal and finishes back in Walmer, taking in artists located in Hacklinge, Eastry, Dover and Martin Mill.

SEAS (South East ArtistS) are a group of artists and craftmakers from Deal and surrounding areas. Our aim is to actively promote the visual arts and crafts in the local community. We began as a small group of artists in January 2005 and now we have a membership of around fifty members. Folkestone Art Society Autumn Exhibition

The exhibition opens at 10am and closes at 5pm each day. The Autumn Exhibition usually has up to 250 paintings and works of art on display and the majority of the work is for sale. The exhibition is rightly considered an important event in the arts calendar of the south-east and our previous exhibitions have drawn praise for the high standard of work exhibited.

Quattuordecim at the Pie Factory, Margate
