A proposal for a recent exhibition was inspired by a simple bowl of peaches I had just picked from the tree in the garden that morning.I had been looking for something grand and impressive to present to my gallery of choice; turns out that all I really needed was to look around me and see the everyday things that gave me joy. There was an amazing amount to choose from. 15 paintings later, my proposal was complete, and accepted for my first solo show.
