A signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, and Allied Artists of America, my work has received numerous awards in the U.S.including the AWS High Winds Medal. I received my MFA in painting from the University of North Carolina.
My paintings exhibit a refinement of line and shape, strong color interpretation and solid composition. In my artwork, plants have durability, people have resilience, and objects and places have permanence.
