Rob is an Australian landscape artist and photographer with plenty of bushwalking miles under his boots in Tasmania and NSW.
He studied figure drawing with Stephen Wesley Gorton at Paddington Art School and landscape painting with John Caldwell.
Rob works in a range of media and is a frequent exhibitor in both art and photography. His work is represented in corporate and private collections in Tasmania and NSW and he exhibits through Hat Hill Galleries, Blackheath, NSW Australia.
Through his chosen media, Rob brings part of the rich wilderness experience back to our homes as reminders of another world in which nature’s rules prevail.
Rob works up to finished paintings from field notebook studies and his photographs. Through isolating elements such as patterns, rhythm and layers, his landscapes give a sense of being a privileged observer.
