Born Cincinnati Ohio, graduated Art Academy of Cincinnati (cert.). Currently, I am a full time artist, exhibiting solo, in competitions and with the group “Wild Women Artists” which I founded. I am an instructor at Middletown Ohio Arts Center part time. I’ve exhibited in more than 30 states in solo, group, invitational and competition shows. I am in many publications and have won awards.
I am fascinated by the grid that humans impose on the natural world. I deconstruct this in many of my paintings. I like making accidental drips and then organizing them. Lately I have been exploring working on shaped canvases, with muted colors.
