Sophie is a British sculptor. People, animals, dancers and words are among the subjects of Sophie’s sculpture, made from clay, willow, and other responsive materials. Her work is figurative, formal and emotive.
Sophie studied at Winchester School of Art.
I make things that mean something, and dance, people and animals are usually what touches me. I work with objects and materials to bring into being pieces that reach out to people in this sensual world.
