ARTIST STATEMENT
I work both in abstract and figurative styles and in any medium that will make a mark upon a surface. The work presented in this show is acrylic and collage on rag board or paper.People often ask me “What am I thinking about when I make work like you are seeing here? I would start my answer by quoting a lyric of Leonard Cohen that goes
“We are so small between the stars,
We are so large against the sky”
From the song “Stories of the Street”, 1970
